Gold deposits of the Drummond Basin

The Clermont Project tenements, in Central Queensland, extend over covered and deeply weathered units of the southern Drummond Basin sequence (including Cycle 1 Silver Hills Volcanics) and the Anakie Metamorphic Group. These units are prospective for epithermal and mesothermal gold mineralisation, as well as deeper porphyry-related mineralisation styles.

The Drummond Basin is one of Queensland's most significant gold producing regions.

Previous exploration on Echo's tenements has recorded gold mineralisation in areas of shallow cover.
